There are numerous controversies about this fact that whether astrology is a science or a superstition. But being so passionately attached to astrology I would definitely refute the allegation of astrology to be a superstition. It is purely scientific in the sense that any subject to get qualified as science needs two important aspects: 1st it has to empirically sound and 2ndly must involve quantitative measure, and astrology very well qualifies both its qualifier.
