Do you have a favorite fabric shower curtain but can't stand the mold that builds up on it? Buy a simple and inexpensive plastic mold proof shower curtain liner and hook it up between your favorite cloth shower curtain and the shower to stop mold. Alternatively, replace your existing shower curtain with just a liner or use this as an excuse to buy a new fabric shower curtain.
Bathrooms are often breeding grounds for mold and mildew due to the warm and damp environment. Keep a watchful eye out for mildew so you can remove it when it begins, because mildew can create a toxic environment. Even fabric shower curtains can develop unsightly mildew on the surface of the fabric over time.
Of all the things in my apartment, I think I change the shower curtain the most. It's so easy to make a standard white-tile rental bathroom look like a completely new, redecorated space just by swapping out the curtain for something completely different. Feeling minimal? Pick a solid.
A shower curtain is for decor and hung on the outside of the bathtub/shower. Whereas a shower curtain liner is hung on the inside of the tub/shower to protect the shower curtain. In simpler terms...SHOWER CURTAIN: gets to hang and look pretty and be dry.
Do I put both curtains on the same rod & use same hooks or use different hooks and need a second bar? No directions other than cloth label states liner recommended!
