Banish mold from your fabric shower curtain by hooking up a mold free shower curtain liner between the curtain and the shower. No mold will grow on your fabric shower curtain as the liner acts like a barrier. However, you will need to clean the existing mold off your fabric shower curtain or use this as an opportunity to completely replace an old shower curtain with a new one. Or, forget a shower curtain altogether and just have a plastic mold free shower curtain liner.
Bathrooms are often breeding grounds for mold and mildew due to the warm and damp environment. Keep a watchful eye out for mildew so you can remove it when it begins, because mildew can create a toxic environment. Even fabric shower curtains can develop unsightly mildew on the surface of the fabric over time.
A shower curtain is for decor and hung on the outside of the bathtub/shower. Whereas a shower curtain liner is hung on the inside of the tub/shower to protect the shower curtain. In simpler terms...SHOWER CURTAIN: gets to hang and look pretty and be dry.
Do I put both curtains on the same rod & use same hooks or use different hooks and need a second bar? No directions other than cloth label states liner recommended!
