Sahil picks up a fight with a passerby in Goa. Indravadan tells a friend that Sahil is missing. Monisha gets an ad printed about missing Sahil, in the Tamil newspaper. Rosesh tells that Sahil has text messaged him saying that he is safe. Sahil gets to know that the passerby is none but Nagesh Iyer, the writer.
Indravadan, Sahil and Monisha watch a cricket match with superstitions on their sitting and standing positions. Indravadan asks Maya to get him tickets for the next match using her contacts. Indravadan decides to somehow steal tickets from Jayant. Indravadan cleverly tricks Jayant and gets the tickets but Maya ruins his plans.
Maya organises a fund collection drive for street children who are victims of alcohol abuse. Monisha remarks that Maya apes Sarita a lot. Sarita tells that she had to send a detective to know whether her husband is loyal or not. Kiran tells Sahil that she got divorced.
Rosesh tells Maya that Jaymin's hand got fractured and he cannot complete writing the play. Indravadan makes fun of Rosesh's play. Maya tells Indravadan that the show got postponed and so he can peacefully complete her play. Maya gets a full time maid for Monisha. Indravadan ridicules Jaymin's writing speed.
Maya tells Indravadan that Popat Kaka is extremely unwell. Monisha insists on going to Los Angeles to see Popat Kaka. Rosesh feels sad when he gets to know that Maya will be out of country for one month. Maya cries after she gets to know that Popat Kaka is no more.
Maya asks Indravadan to clear all his old clothes from the wardrobe. Maya stops talking to Indravadan. Sahil advises Indravadan to cheer up Maya. Indravadan gifts Maya an antique cupboard. Indravadan is unhappy since Maya does not respect him. Indravadan is missing and Soniya predicts that he is in a dark room.
Maya and Rosesh prepare to shout slogans for a protest. Rosesh tells Dushyant that his DVD player is not working. Dushyant explains the probable problems of the DVD player. Indravadan calls up Jayant and asks for party organizers. Babu comes to Sarabhai's residence with 2 girls who were dancers.
Indravadan takes out his frustration on Rosesh as he could not set a record in the video game. Indravadan bribes Vitthal and so he gives judgement in Indravadan's favour. Maya asks Monisha to use foul language with some sophistication. Maya tells Monisha that Sahil received an empty lunch box.
Maya makes a sarcastic comment on Monisha's big mouth. Sahil tells Indravadan that Maya has won the interstate scrabble tournament. Monisha and Sahil organise a party to celebrate Maya's win. Sahil refuses to have Rosesh's poetry in party's invitation card. Maya plans to throw Indravadan out of the house.
Indravadan makes fun of Rosesh's play. Vidisha calls up Maya and tells her that she will be coming to India to shop for her marriage. Monisha asks Vidisha to stay at the former's place during the latter's visit to India. Maya is unhappy about Vidisha's decision of staying with Monisha.
Maya and Vitthal make fun of the sweets, prepared by Monisha. Maya narrates how she taught a lesson to the prankster, Indravadan. Indravadan plays a prank on Maya. Sahil criticizes Indravadan. Indravadan shows some signs of improvement. Dinesh visits Indravadan and they play a game of chess.
Maya asks Radhabai not to give junk food to Indravadan. Indravadan wishes to spend time with Maya but she is too busy. Indravadan shares his sorrows with Sahil. Sahil suggests Indravadan to romantically woo Maya. Indravadan meets Cookie Sharma, a film actress. He falls for her and starts fantasizing about her.
Maya prepares to go to Paris. Soniya tells Maya that her voodoo charts have shown her that a person whose name starts with the letter 'M' will die. Maya cancels her Paris trip. Maya and Monisha fear death. Rosesh gets all the belongings of Maya which are black in colour.
Late at night, Roshesh plays the violin as he is not feeling sleepy and this disturbs everyone. He goes to Sahil's house and asks for some classical music cassettes. Sahil appoints a psychoanalyst to check Roshesh. Roshesh narrates his dream to the psychoanalyst. The Psychoanalyst advice Roshesh to complete his poem.
Maya arranged an exhibition of recycled paper products at her house. Maya and Monisha challenge each other to prove that men's mind works differently from the women's. Monisha tries to find out the mind set of Sahil to justify her challenge against Maya.
Sahil tells Monisha that he is buying a Coyote car and he is very excited about it. Sahil is very possessive of his car and doesn't allow anyone to touch it. Maya along with Roshesh plans to ride the Coyote car first. Indravadhan tells Monisha that Maya is driving the Coyote first.
Indravadhan is following a strict diet as instructed by Maya to lose his weight. Maya clears all the calorie food items from the house. Monisha gives expired cookies to Sahil for the breakfast. Indravadhan sells his shoes to buy food. Maya punishes Indravadhan for eating calorie food.
Maya instructs Indravadan to apologise to Mrs. Wadia because of his prank. Meanwhile, Maya recalls how Sahil met Monisha. Monisha asks Sahil to give her a lift till Mumbai. Later, she visits Sarabhai's place to return Sahil's money and meets his mother Maya. Maya decides that Sahil get engaged to Priya.
Sahil tries to convince Maya that he loves Monisha. Rosesh and Maya plan to withdraw Sahil's marriage with Monisha. Indravadan suggests Sahil to propose Monisha. Finally, Maya agrees for Sahil's marriage. Monisha informs Sahil that she is getting engaged soon. Later, Monisha breaks off with her fiance and marries Sahil.
Maya is preparing for their wedding anniversary. While cleaning the place Monisha finds Sahil's personal diary. Monisha and Maya read his diary. They read about his affair with Dinky and Monisha imagines Sahil and Dinky romancing. Monisha questions Sahil about Dinky but he escapes making excuses.
Baa's spirit gets possessed in Monisha's body. Maya does everything ordered by the Baa's spirit to get the lease papers. Maya asks Indravadhan to call Baa and act as her husband. Monisha is pretending to be Baa to disturb Maya. Monisha/ Baa demands that Maya should get Sahil married.
Maya introduces Tigmanshu to Rosesh, his fourth cousin for The International Family Week and Monisha introduces her cousin Neelu to the Sarabhai family. Indravadan plans to invite Maya's cousins, Himanshu and Hansa. Meanwhile, Himanshu recalls a distant relative of Babuji. His name is Champak and he comes from China to meet Babuji.
Maya reads the headline in the newspaper that the political advisor Baldev Singh may elect Maya as the president for Mumbai Cultural Society. So Maya invites Baldev and his wife Surupa for dinner. When they arrive, Monisha accidently spills rice kheer on Baldev. Baldev and Rosesh demonstrate their talent in poetry.
Rosesh is leaving for US with Sahil and Indravadan for a Medical Conference. Rosesh is upset because he had an argument with Indravadan. Later, Indravadan apologises and promises Rosesh that he will be like a friend to him. Indravadan suggests Maya and Monisha to be like friends.
Sarita is a social worker and she is upset because of a child bride, Sunehri. Therefore, Indravadan suggests Maya to take her responsibility. Maya keeps the child bride to help her with the household work. Sunehri asks twelve thousand rupees from Indravadan for her brother's operation and the latter agrees.
