Computerized Telescopes for Beginners Reviews 2014

I read the evaluations of several moderately priced telescopes and this one was the one to be the one to buy. I haven't regretted my purchase. I'm sure I will like it more and more as I really learn how to use it. We intend to take it to the beach when the weather permits. We're beginners at astrology and will gain experience as we go along. It came with sturdy tripod we will find useful on the beach or in a park with lots of ,open spaces I also purchased the eyepiece and filter kit as well. It, also is moderately priced and expands what you are able to view.

This is actually a lot of telescope for a very good price. I researched online for months and considered several different scopes but when you take into account the features you get at this price, you really can't go wrong. The first night I took the scope out, I took my time and set the tripod up according to the instructions. This took maybe 5 minutes. Looking at the Moon was amazing, even with the supplied 25 and10 mm Plossil eyepieces. Observing Saturn and Mars the next time out was equally impressive using a 5.5 mm Plossil eyepiece I had purchased separately. Due to the light pollution where I live I haven't been able to observe any deep space objects with clarity but you can't fault the telescope for that. Taking into account the optics, quality build and the GPS/ computerized tripod mount made this telescope at this price an easy decision for me.
