Pyrex Bakeware 2-Quart Casserole Dish with Lid

I purchased this dish mainly for the lid. I wanted something to use in the microwave to guard against splatters, and was wary of the plastic options due to off-gassing. This is perfect! The little handle is easy to grasp and it's just the right size to cover most plates and bowls. I'll really enjoy the bowl for pot-luck get-togethers as well. It looks attractive and is highly functional.

Pyrex 6022369 Storage 14-Piece Round Set, Clear with Blue Lids

The containers work nicely for food storage, but they also can be used for cooking. They go from freezer to oven or microwave, and are dishwasher safe as well. Pyrex is practically unbreakable. With normal use, this set could easily last a lifetime. At the current price, they actually cost less than plastic containers, which do not have either the durability or versatility.

Pyrex Prepware 2-Cup Measuring Cup, Clear with Red Measurements

This one seems to be up to the challenge. I've used it to melt butter and left it in the microwave too long, washed it a dozen times in the dishwasher, used a whisk in it (I love the sheer size of this thing!). Not a scratch on it! I know, I know, it's just a measuring cup. But quality does matter, and this one is top notch!
