There's a lot of potential in the field of Education Gamification. I believe that humans have an innate Desire to learn. However, much of the school system these days "gets in the way of our education." If you ask children, "What is work?" They will say, "School and homework!!"

It is not only imperative for students to learn the required material, but also critical that students gain a sense of confidence toward their work, and find motivation to expand their learning.
Gamification is the integration of game-like mechanics into non-game "stuff." For years, schools have been gamified. Points for performance. Points accrue to earn "badges" (e.g., letter grades). Students are separated and ranked (e.g., class ranks). Winners of this "game" are celebrated (e.g., valedictorians).

Wow! It's mid-September already and I finally have time to blog again!
