Great theme park hotels

Looking for a great place to stay during your next vacation to an Orlando theme park? Check out our list of suggestions.

Gaylord Palms (Near Disney)

Gaylord Palms is a wonderful hotel to stay at if you're planning any theme park visit during your vacation - including Disney. Gaylord Palms is located closest to Disney, but it's also near I-4, so you can hop right on if you're heading to another park.

Gaylord Palms features three beautiful atriums, each themed to something different than the next. You can just about spend a whole day exploring the atriums. They also have an awesome kids pool and an adults-only pool. Also during certain times of the year, their pools are open 24 hours, which means you can take a relaxing dip after a long day of walking around the parks.

Hard Rock Hotel (Universal Orlando Resort)

The Hard Rock Hotel is one of Universal Orlando's four on-site hotels. The Hard Rock is usually the most popular hotel to stay at. Who doesn't love a good rock 'n' roll themed hotel?

The Hard Rock Hotel is located just a few minutes from Universal Studios by foot and Universal CityWalk by boat. Of course, the entire resort is accessible by either boat or foot. The pool has an amazing slide and a wonderful pool to swim in.

The Renaissance (Near SeaWorld)

The Renaissance is located directly across the street from SeaWorld Orlando. Due to it's location, The Renaissance is considered a SeaWorld Partner Hotel, which means they offer great perks for guests who are staying and plan on visiting SeaWorld.

The Renaissance also offers free shuttling to SeaWorld, Universal Orlando, and Walt Disney World. The hotel is also close enough to SeaWorld that you could walk if you don't mind crossing the street and doing a little extra walking at the end of the day.

Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress (Near Downtown Disney)

Located near Downtown Disney, the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is a great bargain if you're looking for a theme park vacation. They offer free shuttling to Walt Disney World, SeaWorld, and Universal Orlando.

The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress also has an amazing pool (emphasis on amazing). There's mini caverns where you can enjoy the hot tub, bridges, and more. Don't forget the waterfalls! If you love spending time in the pool, this hotel is highly recommended.

The Polynesian Resort (Walt Disney World)

The Polynesian is located right near Magic Kingdom. In fact, to get to it, you have to go through the toll booth to the Magic Kingdom unless you come in the back way (which you probably won't).

The Polynesian Resort is a great hotel to stay at if you're looking to spend your Spring Break at Walt Disney World. A monorail station is connected to the hotel, so when you're ready to go to the parks, you can just hop right on a monorail (or a bus for Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom). The Polynesian Resort is also so close to the Magic Kingdom, if you make your way down to the pool around the time for Wishes, you can watch Wishes right from the beach.
