I love finding tools that make it relatively quick and easy to brand your brilliance online. Here a list of my favorite tools.
Publish Twitter, Facebook, Google+ or any web content into your own online newspaper. I love handing my own branded newsletter - it's a great source of content to share with my network: Bankable Brilliance Daily
If you have powerpoint decks or PDFs of presentations, upload them to slideshare and showcase your expertise. If you upgrade to the pro version, you can even capture leads from people that are interested in your slides: Check out my presentations.(http://www.slideshare.net/taiwriter)
About.me makes it easy for your clients to learn about you and find all of the links to your social media sites in one place.
Circles and communities on this network help you find and connect to new people. Google+ has been a great place to promote events. Visibility tip: Join a hangout hosted by an influencer in your niche. Get seen and contribute to the conversation.
I run a few groups and am part of several other groups. Groups that have good moderation usually have great conversations. There are some that are a straight spam fest - stay away from those. If you are a spiritually conscious entrepreneur, look for the Brilliant Business Girlfriends Group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/brilliantbizgirlfriends/)
Podcasts are a great way to reach your audience and get your message out. They are relatively simple to create and there are plenty of ways to distribute your audio content: BlogTalk Radio, iTunes, Spreaker - to name a few. I used to host a show called Launch Talk, at it's height, the show was downloaded over 6,500 times in one month. I'll be launching a new podcast, in April called Brilliant Business Girlfriends.
Most people know the value of having testimonials from their clients. But there's also value in GIVING testimonials. Have you ever gone to someone's sales page and checked out the testimonials. I do it all the time. And I usually click on the links of search for the testimonial giver online so I can check them out. I've found some of my favorite online sites and bloggers this way.
Similar to testimonials, comments offer the same kind of opportunity. I have my favorite blogs that I peruse on a regular basis. When I see interesting comments from other people, I click the links to their sites to check them out. My tip: Instead of leaving the main url to my website, I leave the link to my blog.
Contributing as a guest on other people's blogs is a great way to get your content and expertise in front of new readers. Make sure the sites you are contributing to are reputable and have readers that fit into your VIP (very interested prospect) profile.
Give highly valuable content - Get people to tweet your message. Simply brilliant!!!! You can create up to two campaigns for free.
