Golf is a growing sport in India. The most successful Indian Golfer is Jeev Milkha Singh who has won three titles on the European Tour, four on the Japan Golf Tour and six on the Asian Tour. Although his current world ranking is 36th, his highest ranking was 28th (in March 2009).
Jeev Milkha Singh (born 15 December 1971) is an Indian professional golfer who became the first player from India to join the European Tour in 1998. He has won four events on the European Tour making him the most successful Indian on tour.
Anirban Lahiri (born 29 June 1987) is an Indian professional golfer who currently plays on the Asian Tour. Lahiri joined the Asian Tour in 2008. He picked up his first victory in 2011 at the Panasonic Open and his second victory in 2012 at the SAIL-SBI Open.

Gaganjeet Singh Bhullar (born 27 April 1988) is an Indian professional golfer who plays on the Asian Tour. He was awarded Arjuna Award in 2013. Bhullar was born to Sikh parents in Kapurthala, India. He was India's number one amateur in 2004 and 2006 and was part of the Indian team that won the silver medal at the 2006 Asian Games.
Kapur went to Purdue University and played the amateur circuit in the United States. He had a successful amateur career, winning the Indian and Malaysian Amateur Opens in 2000 and an individual gold medal at the 2002 Asian Games.
Arjun Singh Atwal (born 20 March 1973) is an Indian professional golfer who has played on the Asian Tour and the European Tour and is the first player born in India to become a member of, and later win a tournament on the U.S.-based PGA Tour.
Shiv Shankar Prasad Chowrasia (born 15 May 1978), also known as "Chipputtsia", and "Chow" is an Indian professional golfer. After he turned professional in 1997, he went on to win eight titles on the Indian Tour and finished second twice in the Indian Open.

Gaurav Ghei (born 25 September 1968) is an Indian professional golfer who plays on the Asian Tour. He turned professional in 1991. His wins include three Asian Tour titles: the 1995 Gadgil Western Masters, the 2006 Taiwan Masters, and the 2007 Beijing Open. In 1997 he became the first Indian golfer to qualify for The Open Championship.
