One of the most popular Paleo blogs plenty of information on the Paleo Diet. Mark Sisson calls his version of the Paleo Diet the Primal Diet. I would recommend joining in with the forums.

Intermittent fasting, compressed eating windows, insulin hacking, and calorie cycling - these concepts aren't commonly covered by the talking heads in traditional media. But there's a monumental difference between "common" and "normal." Today, more than 67% of us in the U.S. are overweight or obese. Being fat is common.

Turbulence. Before take off, all 200 passengers on Alaska flight 864 were warned about moderate turbulence that was to happen about one hour into flight. Happen it did. I've flown on dozens of flights. I do not recall anything even remotely close to what I and 200+ passengers have experienced on this plane.
To complicate the cabin fever, our entire family got hit by a stomach bug last week. Luckily, our girls bounced back within about 12 hours. My husband and I were each worthless for about 36 hours, however. It took lots of sleeping, and some kombucha and full fat yoghurt to pull me out of that awful illness.

I was pleased to be interviewed recently by Andrew Ferebee for the Knowledge for Men Podcast. Check out our talk! I had the pleasure of doing a couple of events recently related to pregnancy and nursing: a webinar to lactation consultants on nutrition for nursing, organized by Jennifer Tow, and a podcast interview with Aaron Olson.
This is completely insane. (Like, in a good way.) In honor of Eat the Yolks, which OFFICIALLY released TODAY, Tuesday February 25 (holy. moly.) I get to give away THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS worth o' goodies. Thousands. Of. Dollars. Here are just a FEW of the goodies up for grabs: HOLY WOW.
I ended my last post with a rather bold statement. The reason most of us struggle with our weight in particular (but this applies to any struggle we have) is that the majority of solutions we purchase simply tell us what to do. What they don't do is teach us how to think.
If you read my blog often, you obviously are a good person, with a spectacular sense of humor, AND you know my latest obsession...broccoli. And if you've been reading my recent posts, you know that I've been consuming stupid amounts of broccoli the last few weeks.
I don't honestly know what I am more excited about. This is the first post on the BRAND NEW WEBSITE and I get to share a recipe with you from our brand new book The Paleo Kitchen (I allow you to go buy it now and then read the rest of this).

I was deeply saddened to learn that Seth Roberts suddenly passed away. Many people knew Seth better or longer than I did, but I'd like to share a few thoughts. I met Seth a few years ago at a conference. We ended up walking and talking at that conference, walking and talking at other conferences, walking and talking in NYC.
Scotch eggs, my friends, are absolutely genius. G.E.N.I.U.S Hey, we're talking protein wrapped in more protein, seriously! What more could you ask for? Why I'd never had them before now, I can't even begin to understand. It's not that they never appealed to me, quite the contrary.
Share it if you love it!When we decided to switch the entire family to a Paleo diet, my first concern was "What the heck do I make my kids for lunch?". I mean, the only way a kid will eat lunch is if it's served between two slices of bread, right?
You might be able to taste the rainbow with this salad. The wider the range of colorful vegetables in your salad, the more nutrition it packs. Plus, let's be honest, the colors make it look pretty. This salad has green, red, yellow, orange, and purple vegetables that will help leave you feeling fuller longer (that's the fiber).
