Following any successful play, the players see the position at which the Ball Spot exits the screen (in the case of a punt or a pass play) and the Offense draws a card. Most cards have a mini-map of the playing field and will designate the total of yardage gained depending on where the Ball Spot left the screen.

Shooting Gallery (Cartridge 10)

Your character shoots a rifle at ducks and at targets with a bulls eye. It lets you aim up, down, left and right and has one fire button. The game is pretty entertaining even though the graphics are subpar. The sounds on the other hand are good for the game and they go well with it.

Shootout (Cartridge 9)

Shootout (Cartridge 9)

involves moving your Outlaw Gang (little white square) from window to window without getting shot by the gun-wielding Sheriff. Your Outlaws start at the upper left and move to the upper right, obliged to light each window along the way. As though a single organism, they then cross the street to the "low side" of the screen using the stagecoach as cover, then they make their way to the lower left corner where "escape" horses await. This all takes place while your friend, parent, spouse, offspring or other loved one tries to shoot your Outlaws, and, symbolically, you! As you sneak from window to window, you can't just zip through the window at a blinding speed. Your Outlaw Gang has to stop in each window long enough for you to yell: "You'll never get me, Sheriff!"

10

Simon Says (Cartridge 2)

Simon Says (Cartridge 2)

Simon Says is best played with three people. Two people each handling a controller and a third person who plays the role of Simon. Simon draws one of the provided off-screen accessory cards, reads it and says aloud: "Simon Says: fine the (body part indicated on card)". The players have to move their Player-spots from their starting square to the corresponding body-part on one of the colorful Überlay children or one of their strangely legless pets. The person who gets their Player-spot to the correct spot first, gets to keep the card. The person with the most cards wins the game.

9

Ski (Cartridge 2)

Ski (Cartridge 2)

There's an alien concept you need to understand about this game in case you haven't actually seen it. Look at the Uberlay. This is a different type of Uberlay from the Hockey, Tennis or Football Uberlays, which were translucent. The Uberlay for Ski is almost completely opaque. The only areas through which any light shines at all are the dashed lines indicating the skier's intended trail and various obstacles located "off-trail" like trees and mountains.

8

Soccer (Cartridges 3 & 5)

7

States (Cartridge 6)

States (Cartridge 6)

The overlay is a map of the good 'ol United States of America, which wouldn't be complete if they didn't have the Alaska/Hawaii combo scaled-to-fit and hovering over a vanished Mexico. The off-screen props consist of 50 cards, an answer brochure entitled “Affairs of States” and a “study map”. The 50 cards each highlight a specific state with three questions about the state. The answer brochure is exactly what it sounds like, and is handier than dragging out an encyclopedia.

6

Submarine (Cartridge 5)

Submarine (Cartridge 5)

Player One plays the Convoy Commander and controls the square on the screen designated as “The Convoy”. The Convoy Commander must move the Convoy Spot through the shipping lanes, represented by a convoluted path, by staying on the path the whole way. If the Commander strays off the path, a ship in the aggregate Convoy Spot inevitably hits a mine and sinks. Meanwhile, Player Two is the Submarine Commander. The Submarine Commander sits just outside the shipping lanes and tries to sink the convoy ships.

5

Table Tennis (Cartridge 1)

Table Tennis (Cartridge 1)

Hit the ball back and forth, very similar to Pong. It was the first ever game made for the Odyssey. It has had many reboots since it's release but the first one is always the best. It is a one or two player ping pong game. Its very simple with horrible graphics but it's an addicting video game nonetheless.
