I've camped in a few of the National Parks.... Lasson National Park, Yosemite, Yellowstone, the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, Crater Lake, and more. All of the experiences were very good, all were different. By far, my favorite camping experience in a National Park was at Glacier National Park.

by MaggiePowell Camping ia a great way to experience Lassen National Park. Here are some great reviews the campgrounds in and around Lassen. I love camping at Lassen National Park in Northern California. Lassen is one of the smallest Parks (only 165 square miles) in the National Park system, and gets far fewer (only about 400,000 a year) visitors than the other parks.

The biggest challenge of this trip was getting the then 3 kids into the mini van with all their stuff. I had to plan it carefully, and I had to stick with a strict plan. Everyone was issued a packing list, and their own travel bag for clothes that would be stored on top of the car in the carrier.

by MaggiePowell Glacier National Park is simply fabulous. The Park is loaded with wildlife, and not so loaded with people. You will find Glacier National Park in the state of Montana, but it extends up to the border of the United States, where it joins Waterton National Park in Canada.

My family spent 2 weeks on an RV Trip to National Parks last summer, and we saw much more than we thought possible. Starting with Crater Lake in Oregon, we then traveled north and east to Glacier National Park, south to Yellowstone National Park, and finally, Fossil Butte National Monument.
