Here is the order in which I would show co-workers to open a conversation and provide more information about the 21st century learner.

21st Century Skills: What Do We Do?

A creative video that compares the way the educational system currently is to what it NEEDS to be to meet the growing needs of 21st Century students.

A Vision of Students Today

Set in a lecture hall, this video effectively conveys how the old practices and expectations no longer match up to students' needs and skill set.

A Vision of K-12 Students Today

While similar to the video A Vision of Students Today, this video is told through the perspective of a younger generation. The key element here is the need to engage the students in their learning.

Engage Me!

Students show they would like to be more engaged and involved in their learning through such means as global communication, more time spent using computers, creating podcasts, etc.

21st Century Learning Matters

The Library of Congress provides information about the 21st Century Learning, such as what it is and the challenges that come with it. Additionally, they provide examples for how educators can support it in schools.

Pay Attention - Final Final Cut

This video asks questions to teachers and administrators about the current state of their school and teaching ability. These questions are tough, but they're meant to encourage a reaction and change.
