Place To Visit In Kyoto Japan

Daigoji Temple was the first place we visited on our stay in Kyoto, Japan in 2013. It probably is not the top of the 'must see' list for most visitors to the region, but as we had been to Kyoto several times before, we wanted to see some of Kyoto's lesser known temples.

We visited Ginkaku-ji, otherwise referred to as the Silver Pavilion, on the third day of our trip to Japan in September 2013. We had actually planned to go to Okayama that day, but due to a typhoon further north, most of the trains weren't running. So, we improvised and headed to Ginkaku-ji instead.

I have visited a lot of cute kawaii shops all over Japan, but there is one store that stands out from them all - Hello Kitty Koubou in Kyoto. It is the cutest, most authentic Japanese Sanrio store I have ever had the pleasure to visit. It's an experience in itself.
