This is the second book of Jeffery Archer's Clifton Chronicles trilogy. The story of Harry Clifton, Giles, and Emma Barrington continues as Britain is at war with Germany and Harry, as one, well acquainted with his character from the previous book, would expect, decides to sign up.
In between travelling, dealing with tonsilitis, and hours of lying in the pale winter sun; I asked Mum, my go-to person for books, for a fast paced solid read. And, as always, she did not disappoint as she handed me the first book of the Clifton Chronicles trilogy.
I bought this book at the book fair because it was an old edition and was selling cheaply. I also read the blurb and saw that it was about the art of tattooing. Since it was something I had never read about before, I picked it up.
Of course I had to read it! I loved Devil Wears Prada when it hit the shelves and I too, along with many others, felt that Lauren Weisberger had to come up with a sequel. What happens to Andrea and Miranda after they part ways... what happens to Andy's relationship with Alex.
