Water was the crossing place where worlds met. At first Rain had had to hold himself under, but now he felt as if he was being pulled down. The playful spring sun was moving further and further away as he sank deeper and deeper.
This is yet another part of a story that seems to be taking a grip of me and developing beyond its bounds as first a drabble, and then a flash fic. This part's another drabble, but I will be writing a follow up flash fic soon as well.

Why yes this is how the beginning of my day went. No computers were physically damaged. No IT personnel were within reach. Now I know to log off of the one program and not depend on it to log off after a certain time like it's done before. The fact that grades were going into the particular program at the same time... but that's the only way to see a student's class schedule in order to find them and to find out if there's a new student that's coming into the system ... something that happens daily at my work.
