When you can’t sleep it is a horrible and long drawn out night, but it is even worse when your little one can’t sleep either because they are too scared to go to bed. While you may think nightmares are just a phase and will pass soon, it is important to help your kids cope with nightmares so they are getting adequate amounts of sleep. Doing so will help them do well in school and grow up healthy.
Have fun in the dark so your child isn’t scared of it. Use a flashlight to go on a “treasure hunt,” or have glowing objects in their room to ease the fear of being in the dark.
Do not ignore their cries in the middle of the night just because you want to sleep. Go to your child immediately, comfort them and assure them that everything is okay. Discussing your child’s nightmares will help to prevent them in the future.
Since children are like little sponges, they remember everything they see and hear. These scary movies can be the culprit to their nightmares because they can’t depict what is real or not.
Using their imagination to help them cope with their fears will allow your child create their own solutions to make them less afraid of the dark or monsters under the bed.
Remind your child to stay in their bed and give them something positive to think about. This will prevent your child from being scared and fearful at bedtime.

Consumers are dictating how they want to do business and it's not the way you've probably done business before.
