6 Serene Locations to Start Your Day by the Sea in Quy Nhon – A Holiday Filled with Simplicity and Natural Beauty

If you’re the kind of person who loves waking up to the sound of the ocean, you’ve made the right decision by visiting Quy Nhon. It’s a beautiful coastal city, loved by tourists like you. Here’s why.

1

Hon Kho Beach

This is a tiny island off the coast of Nhon Hai fishing village, about 30 minutes from Quy Nhon city. Visit in the morning if you don’t want crowds around. The water is so clear here that you can even see the coral under the surface. If you like to take a morning walk, stroll along the soft sand or follow the wooden bridge over the rocks. Getting here early also means you’ll catch local fishermen returning with their catch. Take a short boat ride from Nhon Hai village to the island for the best experience – the views are out of this world, especially at sunrise.

2

Bai Xep Beach

Another peaceful and serene spot just 20 minutes south of Quy Nhon, Bai Xep is clean and quiet, with a backdrop of green hills. Mornings are the best time to visit, when the soft sun rays hit the water and sand, creating an ethereal spectacle. You’ll find a few cafés close by where you can enjoy a delicious cup of Vietnamese coffee. If you’re after slow, beautiful mornings, Bai Xep is a must-visit. It’s only four minutes from Avani Quy Nhon Resort, one of the four-star Vietnam beach hotels.

3

Ky Co Beach

Some call it the Maldives of Vietnam, which tells you everything you need to know about the beach. Ky Co is known for its turquoise water, white sand, and rocky cliffs. Getting here involves a boat ride or a drive followed by a hike. For an invigorating start to the day, take a swim in the refreshing water, or you could simply sit and enjoy the beauty all around you. Ky Co is clean and peaceful, and not to mention beautiful. Bring your camera – you’ll want to take pictures.

4

Eo Gio Beach

With a rugged coastline and rock formations, Eo Gio has an untouched feel to it. Its name means Wind Strait. Located no more than 20 km from Quy Nhon, Eo Gio is one of the most beautiful beaches you’ll find in Vietnam. Visit just after sunrise, when the sea is calm and the air is fresh. A pathway curving along the cliffside offers beautiful views of the sea below. A visit to this beach is an excellent way to start your day.

5

Queen’s Beach

This beach is pretty unique. Instead of soft sand, you’ll find smooth, round stones covering the shore. Queen’s Beach was a favourite of Queen Nam Phuong, the last queen of Vietnam – hence the name. The stones are smooth and comfortable enough to sit on in the morning sun. Bring a book to read in peace, or you can simply sit and listen to the waves.

6

Hon Seo Beach

Another place filled with serenity, Hon Seo is a small island not too far from the mainland. It’s much less developed than other places in the country, which is exactly its appeal. You need to take a boat to get here – an experience you’ll love. Mornings are best, when everything is even calmer than usual. Hon Seo is loved by nature lovers for its unspoilt feel. You won’t find any shops or resorts here, so bring your own water bottle.
