Batman

Batman

Arts great and Grant Morrison is always good, but I have no fucking idea what happened in this book, story jumps around far too much, 6/10

The Beach

9/10 wonderful book, shame the film turned out so poorly

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy #1)

5/10. It was ok, I don't see what the huge fuss about it is, it's funny at first but all the jokes seem the same after about 100 pages, struggled to finish it.

The Rules of Attraction

8/10. Brett Easton Ellis is great, this ones not so over the top graphic as some of his others tend to get, nice little Patrick Bateman cameo too

Guards! Guards! (Discworld #8)

9/10. Has all the cleverness that hitchikers had but keeps everything focused on the plot at the same time. Also surprisingly insightful and somber at times.

The Eye of the World (Wheel of Time #1)

7/10. Pretty good, up to about page 300 it's pretty much just the lord of the rings and kind of drags a bit, the middle is fantastic, but the ending is rushed as hell and comes out of nowhere. I'm told this is more because it has to set up the next 11,000 pages of the series though

The Gunslinger (The Dark Tower #1)

6/10. It's ok, seems more intent on setting up the series than being a story in of itself, 90%of it is just exposition

Fahrenheit 451

6/10. It's alright, nothing really stands out

Flowers for Algernon

9/10 this is the saddest shit

American Gods

9/10

Outliers

9/10 now I have a reference for my essays blaming the world for my shortcomings!

Nocturnes

6/10. It's nice, but nothing more

Understanding Comics

8/10 SEE?! I'M NOT WASTING MY LIFE

High Fidelity

8/10 just as good as the movie
