Charity Christmas singles 2013

The big names, the local choirs, the surprise, the novelty act - all aiming to be the Number One at Christmas, and all raising funds for charity.
Susan Boyle - O Come All Ye Faithful - for Save the Children
Scottish singer and Save the Children Global Ambassador Susan Boyle has released a Christmas single 'O Come, All Ye Faithful' and proceeds go to Save the Children.

This music video was made with children and parents from a Save the Children programme in Glasgow.

Syco will donate 100% of its profits from the sale of each CD single and download to Save the Children Fund, a registered charity (213890 and SC039570). This will be at least £1 for each CD sold in the UK and at least 20p for each download sold in the UK.
Holidays Are Coming (Wonderful Dream) - Rebecca Newman (in tribute to Melanie Thornton)
The original song used by the cola Christmas trucks advert, by Melanie Thornton, who died in a plane crash in 2001, only two days before the song was due to be released. 10p per track goes to ChildLine, part of the NSPCC.
The Overtones - 'Smile' - for Operation Smile UK
The Overtones have partnered again with Operation Smile UK to release their Christmas single. All profits will go to Operation Smile.
The Clutha Appeal - Won't Forget
Britain's Got Talent winner Jai McDowell has teamed up with four policemen to record charity single Won't Forget for the victims of the Clutha helicopter crash. It has already entered the top 20 on iTunes.

X Factor winner Sam Bailey's Skyscraper

X Factor winner Sam Bailey's debut single Skyscraper is on course to bag the Christmas Number 1 spot, according to new Official Charts Company sales data. She won The X Factor on Sunday night, had her single released instantly.

Simon Cowell's music company Syco is donating the profits of her CD and download sales to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity and Together For Short Lives.

ITV2's 'The Big Reunion' Christmas charity single

The cast of ITV2's The Big Reunion have announced details of their Christmas single. Atomic Kitten , Blue, Five, Liberty X, 911, Honeyz and B*Witched will release a cover Wizzard's 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday' on December 15 via Universal Music.

All profits from the song will go to ITV's Text Santa charity appeal, which raises money and awareness for six UK based charities.

Millfields Community School is raising funds for a new playground and UNICEF.
