Best Lego Sets for Adults

This isn't really a "traditional" Lego set: while all the pieces are things you'd recognize from 25 years ago, the set is clearly aimed at a much older audience. The box even states its recommended for 16+. I'm 30, a big fan of architecture and I've always enjoyed Legos and always will!

When i ordered it i wasn't sure if i was going to be happy, blown away, or disappointed. And gosh, i was totally blown away, who thought you could make this model with only 1,300 pieces. The build was slow and quite challenging, it took me around 3 hours (with a break very once in a while) to build this set.

If your child is a space enthusiast, this set really is a must. It is also a good deal considering the quantity and variety of parts included. Between this set and the other big space set this year, #3368 Space Center, both are very good, but the shuttle set is more intricate, a bit harder to build, and more historically significant. Both sets have very good playability. I would lean towards #3368 for younger builders, and #10231 for older builders.
