Five Mesmerising Beaches in Quy Nhon That Boast Crystal-Clear Waters and Breathtaking Sunsets – the Perfect Destination

A hidden gem in Vietnam, Quy Nhon boasts some of the best beaches you’ll ever see. With crystalline waters, breathtaking sunsets, and soft sand, these beaches invite you for a memorable holiday.

1

Hoang Hau Beach

Your beach holiday in Quy Nhon wouldn't be as unforgettable as it could be if you didn’t visit Hoang Hau Beach, also called the Queen’s Beach. It’s one of the most popular beaches – and no wonder! With soft white sand, turquoise waters, and tranquil surroundings, Hoang Hau Beach is the perfect place to relax. Soak your feet in the warm water, go for a swim, or just sit back and relax – or all of that; the choice is yours.

2

Eo Gio Beach

Also called the Windy Cape, Eo Gio Beach is known as one of the best beaches in Quy Nhon. This beach is quite different from Hoang Hau in that Eo Gio is lively and vibrant, with strong winds and crashing waves that make you want to be active. The beach is also dotted with rocks that have been shaped by the elements for thousands of years, giving it a rugged look. Swimming isn’t usually recommended due to strong currents, but it’s a great spot for a scenic walk, taking photos, and enjoying the invigorating fresh sea breeze. Also, don’t forget to stand on one of the cliffs and take in the stunning sea views. Food for thought: while you’re dreaming about the best beach getaway, think about where to stay, too. For a beach lover like you, Vietnam beach hotels are ideal. If you like to enjoy a private beach, consider the likes of Avani Quy Nhon Resort.

3

Cu Lao Xanh Island

As you’re on a mission to discover Quy Nhon’s hidden treasures, you should definitely add Cu Lao Xanh to the list. It’s also known as Van Phi Island. Located about 24 kilometres off the coast, the island covers around 360 hectares. With green hills and lush forests, Cu Lao Xanh Island is one of the most naturally beautiful places in Vietnam. Here, you’ll find several beaches, including Bai Nam, Bai Dong, Bai Gala, and Bai Nho. What can you do here apart from soaking in the beautiful scenery? The island’s beaches are popular for snorkelling and swimming. It’s quiet, peaceful, serene, and gorgeous – the perfect spot to get away from everything. You can also hike through the green hills, camp under the stars, and enjoy a beachside BBQ dinner.

4

Ky Co Beach

About 25 kilometres from Quy Nhon City is Nhon Ly Island, on which you’ll find an amazing beach called Ky Co Beach. It’s often referred to as the Maldives of Vietnam, and with good reason. It only takes a 20-minute boat ride to get here. On one side, there are rocky mountains, while on the other, you’ll find a calm, turquoise sea. You could just lie on the sand, soaking up the sun's rays, or get in the water to see beautiful corals. If you feel like going a bit inland, there are hidden beaches tucked between cliffs. Stick around to enjoy a gorgeous sunset, too.

5

Hon Seo

A tiny island located about five kilometres off the coast of Quy Nhon, Hon Seo is another beautiful coastal gem. You can get there within 30 minutes by boat. Most beaches have sand, but the ones on Hon Seo have tiny pebbles. It’s a bit of an out-of-the-way attraction, perfect if you want to enjoy some quiet away from the crowds. The natural pools here are irresistible, just as much as the coral reefs underwater. You can swim, snorkel, or try fishing.
