Black Mountain Water Park is 15 minutes from Hua Hin city centre, Thailand. It’s a perfect location for a fun-filled family outing. It has a range of slides, wave pools and beautiful views. It is more geared towards younger children compared to other water parks. Here is a step-by-step guide to plan your trip.

1

What to know before visiting

There is a free shuttle bus from Hua Hin’s clock tower and back or you can use a cab. On arrival, you will have to pay an entrance fee. They will issue you a dining card to top up with credit, which can be used to pay for food and drinks. At the end of your day, the balance will be refunded if you don’t use up all the credit. Arrive at the water park early to beat the crowd and it will give you enough time to experience all the fun activities. Whether it's sunny or rainy you can have a fun time at the Black Mountain Water Park. There are spacious, clean changing rooms and locker rooms to store your belongings. What to do at Black Mountain Water Park for adults and kids

The adventure park makes for one of the best places to visit in Hua Hin. Things to do here start off with an adventure in itself for the little ones as they have to hop over the stepping stones and pass a grassy play area with playhouses and rocking horses. The adventure pool has a few slides going into the shallow water with a pleasant temperature for children. There is a shallow fountain pool and splash zones for kids as well. There are superhero figures around this area for children to take pictures posing with them. There is a wave pool with boogie boards. The waves start small but gradually become stronger and bigger. It is always advisable for parents to be around, as their children might not be able to handle the stronger waves. The lazy river is another fun activity to do. All you need to do is get into rubber rings and float in the river experiencing the random water jets and showers. The main slides, the blue snake and the bee beside it are must-try slides at this water park. The purple slide is a high-speed open slide. If you love water and speed, this is the slide for you. The wide wave is something enjoyed by parents and children equally. you will never get tired of sliding down this giant wave. On the other side of the park is a 50 ft infinity pool overlooking a huge lake. After enjoying the adrenaline rush from all the slides, you can come here to relax. On the lake, there is a wakeboard park and an assault course. It is suitable for older children and adults. But everyone enjoying the infinity pool can witness others trying to complete the obstacle course.

The park doesn’t allow you to bring food, but the main restaurant has a variety of options from Thai to Western food. The prices are reasonable as well. There are many drink kiosks in the park.

Other attractions and sites to see in Hua Hin

There are many other attractions to visit such as the Maruekhathiyawan Palace. King Rama VI designed this beautiful palace from teak wood.  The palace was designed according to Italian architecture. A visit to Hua Hin Railway Station makes for a lovely walk-through time because of the buildings and architecture.
