My adopted bacterium that I would like to share is the Pseudomonas putida.
It is a common organism used in bioremediation, environmental cleanup and as a model organism in researh because of its antibiotic resistance
We will use this bacterium to find it positive impact. Check out my List
Soils are the environment in which seeds thrive. They supply heat, water and nutrients that can be used to help plants mature. Soil has an important role in determining the location of the ecosystems. Bacterium _Pseudomonas putida _is found in this environment, which provides the physical and chemical composition required for it to grow, thrive and perform its ecological function making it an important factor in soil health and sustainability.
Pseudomonas putida is a versatile Gram-negative bacterium that is widely found in soil. It contributes significantly to the breakdown of organic contaminants, making it crucial for soil health and bioremediation. It thrives in a variety of soil conditions and helps to nitrogen cycling, helps in the breakdown of plant wastes & increasing soil fertility.

Pseudomonas putida is a Gram-negative flagellated rod-shaped bacterium that is commonly isolated from diverse environmental and clinical samples.
Pseudomonas putid a contributes to nitrogen cycling by converting nitrates to nitrogen gas, keeping nitrogen equilibrium in ecosystems. Pseudomonas putida can digest environmental contaminants and is utilized in bioremediation to clean chemically contaminated soil, water, and industrial effluents.
