When visiting any country the question of, “What am I going to eat today?”, will undoubtedly come up. And when visiting Oman there is a great number of must-try dishes that are to be had. However, how will you know what these dishes are? Here’s a list of just some of their must-try foods:

Shuwa

This dish is probably the most known Omani dishes. While normally served for special occasions it takes the amazing quality of slow-cooked marinated meat, generally lamb, and is offered on a bed of aromatic rice. Qabali

Thareed

This is a unique stew found in Oman, where the bread is already soaked into the stew before it is served to you. The stew is brewed using meats, vegetables and its own blend of spices.
