Back in March 2020, when the world was dealing with COVID-19, a group of passionate people started the WeDidIT Foundation. What began as a simple project to promote volunteerism quickly turned into a national movement. It was founded by Mr. Sree Krishna Seelam. WeDidIT recently hit a major milestone by winning the Excellence in Social Entrepreneurship Award at the ET Excellence Awards! This recognition is a big step in their amazing journey.
In today’s world, where emotional intelligence and teamwork are super important, WeDidIT gives young people the chance to grow into caring, service-driven leaders. This organization’s goals are simple: making society, a better place to live.
WeDidIT invites everyone to join, no matter how much time they have, to help create a kinder society and develop leaders who lead with empathy and purpose. Rome was not built in a day. To change the world, It takes time, dedication of many people who want to contribute in volunteering, people who can use empathy and their skills in this beautiful and meaningful Organization!
With schools and colleges reopening, WeDidIT is already expanding its in-person volunteering while still keeping up with virtual activities. Their journey from starting in a small area to getting national recognition, including the ET Excellence Award, shows how powerful social entrepreneurship can be.
