Sapporo Clock Tower

Built during the late 19th century, this tower was used as a drill hall to train leaders to develop Sapporo city. The clock tower was completed under the guidance of the Chief Hokkaido Development Commissioner Kiyotaka Kuroda. Converted to a military training facility during WW II, it was converted to a library later. It is now serving as a museum and gallery with all the cultural assets displayed on the first floor with the second floor being used as an exhibition and event facility. Takino Suzuran Hillside Park

This beautiful oasis of greenery and blooms is the sole National Park in Hokkaido and a must-visit site, especially for nature lovers. The 400 hectares are split into different zones offering a huge section full of blooms in a kaleidoscope of hues, a forest for hiking, a massive playground and three shimmering waterfalls offering an array of experiences for visitors. 
The flower section showcases carpets of blooms each season with the colours changing from spring to summer and to the fall season. With winter the park becomes Takino Snow World offering an array of snow-based attractions including ski slopes, tubing slopes and more.

Sapporo Beer Museum

The birthplace of beer in Japan is Sapporo. Sapporo Beer is one of the oldest and famous brands in the nation brewing beer since 1877. The Sapporo Beer Museum was opened in a former brewery in 1987 to introduce the interesting history of beer in Japan and to educate people about the beer-making process.
It is best to do a Museum Tour to gain most of the insights and history behind this famous brew with thoughts of those who are passionate about beer being shared. The museum visits end with a beer-tasting session. Apart from the museum tour, the ancient brick buildings which are Heritage Sites are worth seeing. Hokkaido Shrine

One of the most prominent shrines in Hokkaido, this shrine is supposed to protect and develop the city as 3 Shinto deities have been enshrined here by the order of Emperor Meiji. Due to this Hokkaido Shrine attracts visitors throughout the year.
Beautifully nestled by Maruyama Park locals often frequent the temple and even enjoy picnics at the park. The shrine becomes festive with many activities throughout the year just as much as it looks picturesque in different hues as seasons change. Sapporo TV Tower

Built at the starting point of Odoi Park, this TV tower is an outstanding landmark in Sapporo which has observed the many changes in the city since its completion in 1956.
The observation deck of the tower offers spectacular views of the city and beyond from a height of 90 m while the Sea of Japan and Ishikari Plain can be seen on a clear day. The deck becomes the vantage point for Sapporo White Illumination and Snow Festivals in winter offering a visual treat to locals and visitors.
