The explainer video is a fast growing trend. You'll have seen them on lots of different websites. But what makes an explainer video great? Well, the company that you choose does. There are lots and lots of companies now selling these videos. We are one of them. But I don't want to be self promoting all the time. So, here is a list of companies I feel are worth checking out.
This is my company (I had to). I run it with my wife Ailsa. We don't outsource (this is a big thing) Because it's us that actually makes the videos we understand more of what it takes to be a top explainer video company.

DemoDuck is just about my favourite explainer video company out there. It's a small team that work very hard to make the best videos out there. Andrew has worked hard building up his business and I admire that about him. If you get a chance, you should really read his story.

Lost Marble Media are our closet competitor. Well, they are really our colleagues in making the world a simpler place. Both ourselves and LMM have a similar situation. Raising our family whilst building their business. You really have to admire the hard work that it takes. We know first hand. It just goes to show that it can be managed!
Common Craft started this trend. What sets this company apart is that Lee (the co-founder) actually knows how to explain concepts.
Only occasionally do they do custom work. But they have a great explainer network that you can access via their website.
