French press coffee involves steeping the coffee grounds in hot water and then pressing it through a mesh filter. Pour-over coffee is where hot water is poured over the coffee grounds and filtered through. Cold brew coffee on the other hand is made by steeping coffee grounds in cold water for a long period of time.
