Best small air compressor for your home or garage... one that is actually worth the money? Here's what people recommend as a great small-sized air compressor.
The small compressor would do nothing more than run nailers and inflate an occasional tire or something. Needs to be portable, and reliable. Quiet is good also.
What is the best value / most bang-for-the-buck?
Will be using my portable generator to power the compressor (and other electrical items until I get some decent power run to the property). Anticipate additional usage but the sheds will be the beginning. Need something that I can lift by hand in and out of my truck, so I guess that means the 'pancake' type compressors?
I've completed a search on air compressors, but the one thing I did not find was a concise discussion of the various brands and styles of air compressors suitable for home shop use.
