When looking past the tension. There are many many times when feminism and religion have been able to have a positive influence on each other. For example feminists have been able to sit down and re-explain religious script and highlight the roles women had within. They are able to point out the efforts made by women whom fought for equal rights in religious context. The mutual influence shows that religion and feminism can coexist and help each other flourish
