Thong Nai Pan Noi and Thong Nai Pan Yai Beaches

Haad Rin Beach

Phaeng Waterfall

When in Koh Phangan, another interesting activity you can do is trek through a jungle to witness the Phaeng waterfall. Located in the Than Sadet National Park, this waterfall is one of the biggest waterfalls on the island and you can trek up to the Dom Sila viewpoint for a stunning view. The trek can be strenuous and hiring a guide is advisable but the view of the lush greenery and the surrounding water bodies is worth the hike. To get the best view of the waterfall, it's best to avoid visiting during the dry season as the water flow decreases significantly.

If you are visiting Koh Phangan with friends, visiting the Challenge Phangan is a fun excursion with a water obstacle course. The park offers various features such as slides, trampolines and monkey bars that can test your physical strength. They also offer timed challenges which is a fun activity to do with friends and family. The park can be accessible by people of all ages although some activities will only be able to be enjoyed by people of a certain fitness level given how physically challenging it could be.

Another interesting thing you can do when you are on the island is to take a Muay Thai class. There are Muay Thai stadiums and opportunities to learn located all around the island. If you do not have enough time for a class, you can check when the next fight will be to see a fitness Muay Thai fight.

Made up of 42 islands, limestones, lagoons and white-sand beaches, Ang Thong National Marine Park is a beautiful place to visit in Koh Phangan. You can take a boat from the main island to visit the marine park and experience kayaking, snorkelling, and trekking to viewpoints for panoramic views.
