Here are some of the popular kid-friendly places and adventures in Ras Al Khaimah that families can enjoy.

Saqr Park

Visiting the largest park in the Emirates will certainly keep parents and their kids entertained for hours. Since its inauguration in 1991, Saqr Park has been a popular spot for families due to its many attractions including picnic gardens, a 620 square metre skate park, kids' play areas and an artificial lake that can be explored through boating rides. Saqr Park is easily accessible and is located not too far from several of the best family resorts in Ras Al Khaimah.

RAK Zoo

Kids who are animal lovers will absolutely love a trip to the Ras Al Khaimah Zoo which has acquired a reputation for the vast number of animals it houses. The large play zone is set up to meet the highest safety standards and includes ball pools, crawl tunnels, and climbing frames. There is also a corner for electronic video games like Jurassic Park DX, Batman DX, Daytona and Snocross.

FLY ZONE Trampoline Park

This is yet another popular attraction for athletic and sporty kids and adults, with a number of unique games and activities. It features a ninja warrior obstacle course, a fun dodgeball trampoline court, a challenging climbing wall, high-performance trampolines and more. The park also features a general free-style trampoline zone, to help the little ones get a good workout and energy boost.

Ride the Jais Sledder

The Jais Sledder at Jais Adventure Peak is a popular ride for adrenaline lovers and the longest toboggan ride in the region. It is essentially a sledge ride on a low-hung track that takes visitors through the scenic Hajjar Mountain range. Stretching over 1840 metres, the ride is built with the highest safety and mechanical standards, to ensure a safe, enjoyable ride for adults and kids alike. The ride’s speed does not exceed 40 km/hour for safety reasons, yet it still makes for an exhilarating ride through the mountains.

Visit the Bassata Desert Village

Families could also choose to spend their time exploring the way of traditional Arab life in the desert, with a visit to the Bassata Desert Village. The village is the epitome of simplicity with camps and tents for relaxing and soaking up the sun. Visitors can also explore the surrounding desert area and enjoy activities like sandboarding and camel riding.
