The Thai islands see its highest tourist arrivals from months October through April, out of which, December and January are considered the busiest season of the year, thanks to soothing sunshine, welcoming seas and azure blue skies free from gloom. However, all of this tropical idyll also comes with eye-watering prices, and obviously, thronging crowds. In the months from May to September, however, the atmosphere is much more laid-back and prices are attractively low but you are open to the likelihood of a few typically South Asian downpours that may or may not get in the way of your immersive beach bumming.
