Although don't call it barbecue... the correct term is 'braai'. Example when used as a noun: 'Shot (aka thanks) for inviting me to the braai bru, it was kiff (aka cool, good, nice awesome).' Example when used as a verb: 'We are busy braai-ing now so the food should be ready in three hours.'
