Some of the best spots to visit in Koh Samui after sundown are the night markets, which offer a variety of products at bargain prices, along with great dining options. Here are some of the top night markets in Chaweng:

Fisherman’s Village

Fisherman’s Village is the biggest street market in Koh Samui, located along Bophut Beach. Visitors will find everything from souvenirs to street food, entertainment and restaurants here. You can spend the whole evening at this market, as there are several bars, stores and restaurants lining the Wharf. After shopping, head to the beach or watch the colourful traditional performers put on lively shows. The market is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 5 pm - 11 pm.

Lamai Night Market

Lamai Night Market is another popular night market with locals and tourists, found on Lamai Beach Road. It can get quite busy, but it’s well worth a visit if you want to sample the local food – thanks to the large array of Thai street food stalls stocked with local delicacies. Alternatively, there are several restaurants which offer international cuisine. It’s also a great place to shop for souvenirs, and bargaining is accepted. There are many products on offer, from ornaments to groceries. You can catch great street performances as well. This market is only open on Sundays, from 5 pm - 11 pm.
