Top Things To Do in Tyendinaga

Located between Belleville and Kingston in Ontario, the Mohawk community of Tyendinaga (exits #556 and #566 on Hwy 401) provides plenty of opportunity for visitors to share its culture.

The community hosts a fall fair every September at the community centre/fairgrounds located on York Road.

Visit the Tyendinaga Pow Wow

The second weekend in August, the community hosts a traditional pow wow located on Bayshore Road.

Celebrate the "landing of the Mohawks"

Each May the community recalls the founding of the community with both traditional and church services, complete with the official Queen Anne silver (a gift to the community) on display.

LIL CroW Native Arts Centre, Gallery & Courtyard hosts performances by Native artists all summer at their Bayshore Road location.
