One of Cambodia's most significant archaeological sites, Sambor Prei Kuk pre-dates Angkor Wat by several centuries. Located in Kampong Thom province, about 150 kilometers from Siem Reap, this ancient city was the capital of the Chenla Kingdom. The site consists of three main groups of temples, each showcasing unique architectural styles and intricate carvings. Sambor Prei Kuk is surrounded by dense forest, offering a tranquil and immersive experience.
