My favourite High Performance Sports Cars

I saw this model first on Top Gear and Jeremy's review of the car has it on my top list. What an amazing piece of machinery

Born and bred near Montreal my home town, the T-Rex has to be one of the wildest sports car/sports trikes in the world. Cost? $45K so it's out of my league like much of the rest of this list.

Based on one of my favourite small sports cars, the Lotus Elise, the Tesla Roadster was the first all-electric roadster to bring EVs to the forefront and make them a viable contender.

If there is an exotic vehicle that has any chance of my ever buying it, it would have to be this one. It is an absolutely beautiful car with amazing craftsmanship and totally electric drive with over 250 Miles of autonomy.

Recently the web has been abuzz with a viral video for a feature called Insane Acceleration Mode on the Tesla Model S P85D, it is a beast with dual motors, yes TWO electric motors driving all four wheels with an astonishing combined horsepower of 670 HP. The car can accelerate from stand-still to 120 Kph (75 Mph) in an astonishing neck-snapping, adrenaline-inducing 3.2 seconds! I would love to post the video , but unfortunatley it is FULL OF SWEARING and not appropriate for all audiences.

Every now and then I see one of these zip by me and my mouth still waters. They made them of bonded aluminium and had an incredible power to weight ratio. I just love the lines of this car as well.
