Best Interior Design Styles that Work with Unique Crystals & Stones

Here are favorite design styles that would benefit from using statement and accent pieces made of natural crystals and stones. I also make suggestions of what types of crystals would fit aside from mainstream ones like quartz. Make sure to comment which one is your favorite!

Scandinavian | Japanese | Japandi Design Style

Japandi style is a multi-cultural, fusion style combining Scandinavian and Japanese interior into a minimalist, neutral toned aesthetic. The style is very earthy, and organic, and natural stone and crystal pieces would very much fit the aesthetic. This example below with wooden accents and neutral art pieces could easily be elevated with a quartz, white crystals, such as calcite.

Dark Academia | Modern Gothic Design Style

The dark academia and modern gothic design style lends some opportunity for some of our shadow- toned crystals to come into play. Pieces that can be placed by the fireplace, a coffee table or a windowsill, can give the somber mood a little pick me up, these crystals can still catch a bit of light without destroying the mood.

Cozy Interior Design Style

The cozy interior design style is such a welcoming, warm environment that works well with crystals and stones that are neutral or lend a pop of color. I would love for the display shelves such as this, to include some lightly colored crystals alongside plants and other sculptures.

French Design Style

A beamed and vaulted living room decorated by Georgia designer Sally Draughon features accessories such as glass obelisks on the mantel. The room, which also included provincial furniture and double gold chandeliers, was part of the 2017 Design House for the Historic Macon Foundation.
