7/10 A basic canteen, used for holding water and keeping it fairly cool. Pouch uses ALICE clips and can be attached to any ALICE system (and MOLLE if you have enough patients). Simple, effective, does the job it needs to do. Nothing special or unique about it.

One thing I hate about gear is how, quite often, advances in technology wind up turning your stockpiled (and paid for) mound of a particular product that was first-rate ten years ago into a pile of second-rate product.

It's been awhile since I grabbed my primary bug-out bag and took it for a walk, so last night I picked it up and headed out into the woods to my wilderness camp.
