Aromatic Thai Red Curry is a simple dish made with meat coated with Thai red curry paste and cooked in creamy coconut milk adding the element of creaminess to the dish. It is served hot with a sprinkling of chopped kafir lime leaves on top and mostly enjoyed with steamed rice. Although the curry looks fiery red, this is a mild dish which can be made spicier on request. For vegetarians and vegans, this dish can be made with vegetables or with tofu instead of meat.
This is a signature dish of Thailand, the noodle of choice is stir-fried with beansprouts, chopped onions and egg in a hot wok and flavoured with fish sauce, garlic, dried shrimp, chilli and palm sugar to make a plateful of tantalizing noodles. Though Pad Thai is usually made with seafood some restaurants and street food stalls make it with beef, pork or chicken and add fresh herbs and bean sprouts to the dish.
