Windsurfing allows one to sail around the Indian Ocean at your own pace while enjoying the relaxing breezes and the beautiful sunset. The best time for this is from May to October when the wind activity is strong. Kite surfing is slowly but surely gaining momentum in the Maldives. Kite surfing can be done under many conditions and environments. You won't require considerable wave activity, just a significant amount of wind and water is sufficient. The Maldives is generally not a high wind destination, but from May to October, the conditions improve and are excellent for kitesurfing.

Glass-bottomed boat rides

For a bit more relaxed activity, hop onto a glass-bottomed boat ride for a nice change of pace, where you can relax while taking in the breezes of the Indian Ocean.
