Official Bloggers at FN PLATFORM

FN Platform Blogger I just had to interrupt my Barcelona posts with a sprinkle of updates from Vegas. For the past week I've been in Vegas for MAGIC Market Week as an official blogger for FN Platform. FN Platform is shoe heaven.

Shoes, Panels, Pools and Lights The last two days of MAGIC were as busy as the first; full of panels, blogging and interviews. Each day began with a panel discussing our shoe finds from FN PLATFORM. FN PLATFORM was broken down into six sections; Black Diamond, Cosmo, Camp, Bond, Zen and Play.

A Chic Outfit - Las Vegas I loved the way these photos turned out. They were taken in front the wall of water in the Aria Hotel. Las Vegas hotels have many grand water features but Aria's is one of my favorites.

It's incredibly surreal to think that this time one week ago I was just leaving Las Vegas, and my first time at WWD Magic and FN Platform and a week filled with shoes, blogging, panel talks (and a whole host of nerves at that), new brands and a seriously impressive selection of buffets (with serious kudos to Wicked Spoon- it is, erm, wicked!)

(Sunglasses: ASOS, Playsuit: C/O Motel, Shoes: Sarenza) So, if you've been reading my blog for over a week (if not, hello new readers!) you'll know that a couple of weeks ago Jaz and I flew out to Las Vegas for WWD Magic and FN Platform to spend the time blogging, talking on panels and doing a suitably touristy amount of exploring.

(Jumper: Topshop, Dress: Topshop, Sunglasses: ASOS, Shoes: Zara) As well as a lot of nerves (Rescue Remedy lip balm anybody?), an unnecessary fluffy jumper, and a habit of over dressing in all situations (note to self: sometimes a beehive isn't always essential, and will look odd among lots of beachy waves)- I'm pretty confident in saying my first day at FN Platform went well.

So I've been in the shoe business for... well, ever really- and have attended TONS of shoe shows/ trade shows. I'm usually, however, on the vendor side. That's industry speak for 'I'm with the people slinging the product' (in my case, the shoes).

Wow, it's been SO long!!! This feels weird. So I know I promised a revamp but getting it done has proved harder than I thought. But we're close I think and hopefully it'll be worth the wait! Either way I can't wait any longer so we'll have to deal with the old layout for now.

Everything you see was styled by yours truly :) I went for less of a dapper approach and focused on being more casual/edgy - incorporated some leather jackets, denim and refreshing colors such as cobalt, moss and burgundy!
