Michigan's state Christmas tree will travel some 460 miles to get to the Capitol lawn. The 68-foot blue spruce was donated by John and Barbara Waara of Iron River. It was chosen out of several other nominations by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB).
Do you have your favorite type of tree to use for a Christmas tree or do you just buy the first tree you see on the lot? Most people ponder over this important decision, looking for the perfectly shaped, fullest, most beautiful tree they can find.
This prime quality Blue Spruce Christmas tree has a subtle pine fragrance, so it will also act as a natural air freshener for your home. Holding its needles well in comparison to other spruces, this is a characterful and subtly coloured variety.
