Of the numerous Buddhist temples in Phuket, this is outstanding due to its size, magnificence and as the most revered temple. Constructed in the 19th century, this temple was a haven for the wounded during a rebellious period in Phuket. Apart from its architectural superiority as can be seen the temple is spiritually elevated too as the Chedi (the tower-like construction) embeds a bone splinter relic of the Lord Buddha hence the deep reverence.
This is one of the longest beaches in Phuket stretching for 6 km and is adored by visitors wanting to have a soak in the sun. The southern end has a few hotels while the northern end is serene and relaxing making it ideal for reading, relaxing and sunbathing.
Situated at the north end of Patong Beach this is one of the National Parks in Phuket and is enjoyed by locals as well as visitors as it offers plenty of shade to relax in apart from its beauty. This scenic island is situated in Phang Nga National Park and has incredible limestone formations which made this island an ideal setting for 02 James Bond Movies, hence the island becoming a great attraction for visitors.
