Don't let the title fool you. By far the best general book on Indian spirituality I have ever read. Really conveys what it means to be Indian/Hindu from a spiritual and religious point of view.
Comprehensive coverage of the many many facets of hinduism, and related belief systems, and they get the fundamentals right. Learned a lot from this that I didn't know about a culture I grew up in.
