Glencairn Scotch Whisky Glass Set

In 2001 Glencairn Crystal solved the problem of identifying the ideal glass for whisky. Designed by Raymond Davidson nearly 25 years earlier, its development involved pulling together the master blenders from the five largest whisky companies and asking them to perfect his initial design.

Congratulations to the organisers of Whisky Live Shanghai and Whisky Live Taipei for another two successful events this year. Glencairn Crystal had a wide range of products on display at the shows including a selection of super-premium decanters developed for some of the most exciting whiskies available on the market.

The Glencairn Glass can be found at every major whisky festival in the world as well as any serious whisky bar. The glass is used at distilleries from the Glens of Speyside to the paddy fields of Yilan County. Since it's launch in 2001 the glass has won numerous awards including the Queens Award for Innovation.

Glencairn Whisky Nosing/Tasting Glass The Glencairn whisky glass, developed by Glencairn Crystal, is based on traditional nosing copitas used in whisky distilleries and blending labs around Scotland. It was specifically designed to be used for the every day drinking of whisky, but to encourage the user to nose the whisky before tasting it.
