Male Friday Mosque

The Maldives is a Muslim country, and you are already aware of this fact. Aren't you? In Male, Maldives, you find one of the oldest surviving mosques and locals call it the Male Hukuru Miskiy. This ancient mosque has been built in 1658, and the UNESCO has declared it a World Heritage Site. However, if you want to explore the intricate carvings and the interior architecture, you will have to go inside the mosque.
